How are roommates assigned?

Our goal is to have students develop new friendships and become part of a broader learning community. Rooming requests will be considered if submitted by the registration form deadline. Please note, requests are not guaranteed. Penn’s Hospitality Services assigns the rooms, and changes cannot be made after June 1st. Specific room assignments (including roommate information) are not announced before arrival. Students will be provided with their room number, roommate information, and dorm location when they arrive. Students or families with questions regarding the housing and assignment process can email info@boldsummers.com to speak with a member of the program leadership team.
