What is the Penn Medicine Summer Program for High School Students?
Penn Medicine Summer Program
The Penn Medicine Summer Program for High School Students is a four-week residential program designed to introduce students to the various careers and specialties within the healthcare field. The program is designed to mimic the four years of medical school, with each week complementing a year in medical school, starting with the foundations through career placement. Over the four weeks, students will be exposed to approximately 26 different career paths and have the opportunity to learn from 20+ medical professionals from the Perelman School of Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
